Why do we need
We see an increasing focus and engagement in corporate-startup collaborations across various industries and sectors. Especially a new format of collaborative partnerships focusing on building alliances and unleashing innovation potential collectively, are gaining momentum.
NIRAS Green Tech Hub have conceptualized the practice-oriented approach to innovation, referred to as Green Tech Co-Pilots. This approach enable all corporates and industrial players to engage in fast-tracking the green solutions, which our businesses and society at large, are in severe need of. They do so based on concrete industrial challenges, which is collectively approached and attempted solved through co-pilot test projects, where new technologies and solutions are tested in corporate settings.
The acceleration of the partnerships happens through individually tailored and structured processes, which are supported by innovation specialists and, if relevant, domaine specific engineerings experts. Altogether they target the pre-defined industry challenges to refine and fast-track solutions needed.

Innovation & commercialization
NGTH have developed a competence enhancing innovation seminar for corporates. The seminar relies on tools and methods from entrepreneurship, the lean startup approach and design thinking. Participants gain knowledge about and experience with commercialization and new competencies from building relevant business ideas and working hands-on with brainstorming, idea generation, concept development, customer involvement, prototyping, pitching, and more. Participants will learn to build solutions based on market needs and challenges. The seminar functions as a competence-enhancing course for e.g. engineering consultants, industry experts, corporate leaders, etc., enabling them to work as ‘intrapreneurs’ and apply design- and innovation methods in practice.
The innovation seminar introduces the participants to all stages of the Design Thinking model, as well as other innovation methodologies, enabling them to spot, collect and develop ideas with commercial potential, and approach projects and concept-develop in new ways. The seminar offers participants an innovation toolbox to be used on their corporate setting, practical knowledge and new mindsets, which can be integrated into their daily work and into customer projects. The seminar content and length will be tailored to the specific company, setting, participants and needs.
